Fiscal and social conservatism

We are a nation founded on limited government where true progress and growth is a function of free markets and the free will of the people. I am very consistent in my support of business, free enterprise and limited government both at the state and national levels. I also strongly support core values that have made this country great including protection of family, protection of the unborn, discipline in schools and the loyalty to our nation.

Responsible government spending

We are a nation of the people, by the people and for the people, not of the government, for the government and by the government. Our government collects the wealth of our people for the common good but must be held accountable for that spending at every turn. I have always and will always work to hold government accountable for its actions and demand a return to the taxpayers true benefits for the use of their hard-earned dollars.

Protection of our coast, our culture and our economy

South Louisiana lays claim to one of the most unique and special ways of life in the world. Literally created along the waters edge, we both reap the benefits and bear the risks of our location and geography. Yet our proximity to water neither limits or detracts from the quality of life but rather has created within us a can-do attitude and resourcefulness that has created one of the strongest economies in the nation and provided us with a quality of life unmatched anywhere else in the world.
